Blogging vs Public Speaking

I have the worst case of stage freight ever. Public speaking to me in any form is petrifying. Blogging is a slightly less scary situation because you are able to edit what you are saying before anyone has the chance to see it. Blogging still allows for people to give both criticism and feedback. I am completely self-conscious in reality so I feel as though that fear will translate to the internet. Hopefully it something I will overcome, just like I had no choice but to overcome public speaking in my public speaking college course.
